Alright, I am going to make a somewhat quick post because I am doing this blog more for a journal and what not for Grant and I to have and I haven't been all that great at posting.
Anyway, a lot has happened the past little while and we have also been super busy with work and school. Grant and I started another semester of school but lucky for Grant, he was able to start the Health Administration program this semester which means by next Summer he will be done!! Yay! He is really enjoying his classes because they are finally classes that interest him versus the generals..
I am just trucking along with school and feel like I will never make it to the end..I am pretty sure that is a normal feeling. It helps though that I enjoy my classes this semester because I really do not mind going to class, most of the time atleast.
So here is a little recap on what has happened the past few months.
We had Thanksgiving with Grant's family this year! We were laughing pretty hard because Grant and I got put at the teenager table with all of Grant's cousins who are in highschool. I guess getting married doesn't bump you up to the adult table..but we had a blast because they had tons of funny stories for us!
We celebrated our first married Christmas together and it was great! We spend Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas day with Grants. It was really neat because we were able to Skype Grant's younger brother who is on a mission in Halifax, Canada/Nova Scotia area. I have never met him in person so I am very excited for June 14th so I can meet another brother! Anyway, Grant and I had so much fun surprising eachother with gifts as well as decorating our first tree together! It is so fun starting traditions together as a little family.
We started the New Year off at my sister Lindsays house with her, her husband Brian and their three little kiddos! It was so much fun because we just hung out and played games.
January is a big birthday month for my family. One of those birthday's is Grants!! It was so much fun planning for Grants birthday. This year I wanted to do something fun and special for him because he has been SOO busy working full time as well as taking 15 credits, so I through him a small surprise party with all of his friends from highschool! He loves getting to see them and it is so fun getting to know all of them as well as their spouses!!
So far this year has been super busy and it is only February.. 2011 was super good to us and I am so excited to see what 2012 has to offer. I think it will be great!!
ps.. I have pictures but I need to still download them to the computer so.. pictures will come!

California and more
Grant and I went to California with my family a couple of weeks ago!! We had so much fun together at Disneyland and California Adventures! I am such a little kid when it comes to Disneyland (pretty sure I was way more excited to meet Rapunzel and Eugene/Flynn Ryder than my niece and nephew, who by the way are obsessed) I was in heaven and I am ready to go back already!!
My niece Hailey and nephew Blake came and had a sleepover with us!! It was so much fun! I just love all of my nieces and nephews so much!! Ahh
Blake loves the movie Peter Pan, so when I saw Capt. Hook walking around I literally chased him down and just to find out Blake is terrified of Villains!
My dad just soaking up the beach!
We have done so many fun things with friends this past month and we are so grateful for the wonderful friends we are surrounded by!! They are so much fun and such great examples!!
First off we bought a new camera for our early Christmas present and had so much fun taking pictures since we have such an amazing view from up here in Bountiful!
Gah I just love him!
My niece Hailey and nephew Blake came and had a sleepover with us!! It was so much fun! I just love all of my nieces and nephews so much!! Ahh
We carved pumpkins with Jordan and Christina!
We went to one of Grant's friends wife's cabin! This was so much fun because there were about 9 other married couples!(I left my camera at home so I wasn't able to take pictures..boo..) We just hot tubbed, played games, ate yummy food and watched movies! Such a good weekend escape!
We went to the Bountiful temple with our cute friends Ali, Mike, Lexie and Alex!! This was one of the neatest experiences I have had and it was such a great time! I am so grateful for friends who love to spend their Saturday night at the temple with us!!
Lastly, my friend Karli FINALLY came to visit me and we enjoyed a night full of laughs as well as some tim tam slamming!! Okay, has anyone ever tried this!! It is the best/yummiest cookie plus it is so awesome and fun!! I am a dork and think this is really cool!!!
I have had the best 3 months of my life getting to know Grant more and more and doing all these fun things together! NOTHING beats being wth your best friend all the time!!! Love that kid!!

The Beginning
I feel like the thing to do when you get married is start a blog, so here I am! Grant and I met in September of 2010 when we went to a game night. Grant pretended to know me and the rest is history. In April Grant flew out to Washington and surprised me with a beach proposal! We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 11th. We live in Bountiful and are enjoying married life and working our way through school!! We have had such an eventful year so here are some pictures just to catch up on what has happened!!
Our first date!
Grant went on his mission to the Portland, Oregon mission and we went back to visit with some friends!
We went to Lake Powell with Grant's Family!
We became the Butters!!
When I get all of our wedding photos uploaded I will add more photos but that is good for now! Enjoy!
